The composition is about depicting a woman's feeling through being domesticated. The woman is situated alone in the kitchen, that where she mostly spend her time. The placement of the woman in the centre makes her to become the focal point, as her face is invisible, it due to not being happy about always situated in the kitchen. Through hiding her face it because she has no say to what is happening , so it better if her face is invisible.
